Persistate API documentation
RestoreUnmodified Method (noRefreshFromDatabase)
NamespacesPersistatePersistentRestoreUnmodified(Boolean)

[This is preliminary documentation and is subject to change.]

Restores the values of an object's members to those of the previous version.
Declaration Syntax
C#
public void RestoreUnmodified(
	bool noRefreshFromDatabase
)
Parameters
noRefreshFromDatabase (Boolean)
If true, then Persistate will never retrieve the previous version of the object from persistent storage, even though no clone was made.
Remarks

If the ObjectClass of this object has the Clone on Mutate function, then this copies from the previous version which was made using Clone()()()() when the object was first modified. This uses the CopyFrom method which copies only persistent fields, so if you want this method to restore other fields, you should override the CopyTransientFrom method appropriately. This method discards the cloned previous version once the copy has taken place.

If this object's class does not have the clone on Mutate function, then this will optionally retrieve the previous version from persistent storage. If this is not done, then this object is marked as Invalid.
